Trees are being taken to the dump. Decorations are boxed and put away. Christmas gifts are hung in their proper closets and put in the right drawers. Toys are added to the toy boxes. Life
is back to normal. Schools are once again full of children on the play grounds. Traffic slows some from Christmas mania.
Normal, yes. We keep paying our regular bills and continue paying the one we all ready had. Back to routine; to work, back to life as we know it.
We find some relief. The bustle and hurry of the season is over. What now? Will 2015 be different than 2014, 2013, and 2012? Will the reason for season, Jesus Christ, make a difference? Will He be ignored as he is in the lives of most as usual? I hope not. Everything that is good for mankind is found in Jesus Christ - life, hope, love, kindness, compassion. Would you agree that a little more of these would make anywhere and everywhere a much happier place?
I saw a little sign many years ago. It said "How to have a better world...Be a better you !"
That's the whole purpose of the Baby in the manger.
